With ThinkTank 2016, Kidz For A Cause showed the true potential of kids helping kids in need. The seven-month campaign for Hawaii’s most fragile babies inspired 300-plus kids on Oahu and neighbor islands to create their own FUNraisers for Kapiolani’s NICU. Kidz created, promoted, executed and collected donations for everything from sports clinics to dances, bake sales, a gourmet dinner, a kids’ film festival and more!

2015 | Friends of the Children’s Justice Center

In two fantastic  performances at historic Hawaii Theatre, nearly 200 Kidz from first to twelfth grade came together to organize, promote, stage, and sell tickets to the most amazing kids show before 2,000 people! Led by its all-kid Board of Directors and Executive Committee, KFAC raised a record amount for a non-profit that helps kids who have suffered abuse or witnessed serious crimes.

The Kidz Concert steps up to a new level! Fifty kids banded together to put on a talent concert before an audience of 400 at Aloha Tower Marketplace. Between ticket sales and sponsorships, they raised $10,400 for the AHA’s children’s programs.

Here’s where it all began: When third-grader Nicki Lee was challenged to come up with a community service project for school, she called 8 friends together to put on a kids’ talent show. They sang, danced and did skits for an audience of parents, neighbors, aunties and uncles—and raised $1,100 for the children of the Ronald McDonald House!
